Breast
Lift
Most women experience gradual sagging of
the breasts with time. While this varies
from one individual to another, factors
such as pregnancies, weight fluctuations,
and breast size also influence this process.
The procedure
commonly known as BREAST LIFT or NIPPLE
LIFT, and medically termed MASTOPEXY, is
an operation intended to correct sagging
of the breasts and render them firmer with
an aesthetically pleasing shape.
This operation
in most instances is similar to the breast
reduction procedure, the only difference
being that in a mastopexy only skin is removed,
while in breast reduction skin, fat, and
breast tissue are removed. Often times a
mastopexy will result in smaller breasts
and if the patient wants to remain the same
size or larger, breast implants would have
to be used either at the same time or at
a later date. |
