Chin
& Cheek Implants
Some individuals request improvement in
the cheek area to correct flatness. In others
a receding chin may cause an unbalanced
profile and prompt correction. Chin and
cheek augmentation are carried out using
implants of different sizes and designs.
These implants are made of inert silicone
and do not cause any form of adverse reaction
in the body. They have been in use for over
15 years and have been quite safe. They
are usually inserted through small incisions
in the oral cavity, and the recovery is
quite rapid. In most cases these procedures
can be done under local anesthesia.
