Neck
Lift
A specific
sign of aging is a loose, sagging, and redundant
neck which has lost its elasticity, resulting
in obliteration of the neck angle, i.e.
the angle between the jaw and the neck,
and in the so-called neck bands.
Usually a neck lift is combined with a face
lift, i.e. a face and neck lift. However,
occasionally clients have retained firmness
of the lower face but have developed sagging
limited to the neck. In these situations,
specific procedures are available to address
the neck problem. These procedures are done
through smaller limited incisions and often
times can be performed under local anesthesia.
However, their results are rather gratifying
because they eliminate the sagging neck
which is the tell-tale sign of aging in
an otherwise young individual.
