Scar Rivision
These terms all refer to improvement in the appearance of unsightly scars. As a general rule, scars cannot be removed or eliminated, but under certain circumstances their appearance can be improved. The circumstances depend on the location of the scar, the size, direction, and most importantly the nature of the person's skin. Each individual heals differently and forms scars in a different pattern.

There are different modalities available for scar improvement, some involve application of topical medications, some invovle the use of different types of laser, and finally some are surgical, commonly referred to as "surgical scar revision". Under certain circumstances, surgical scars can be improved by undergoing surgical scar revision, especially if the scars have resulted from procedures such as tummy tuck or breast reduction, where the original procedure involves removal of tissue
and placement of tension on the suture line.

Please note that results may vary from one individual to another and this is why several samples are being shown to provide a realistic impression of the expected results
